ACTIBIOME® – A postbiotic complex including brown algae extract (sugars and polyols), green microalgae extract (amino acids and peptides 200-3000 Da), marine exopolysaccharide, mineralized earth-water mixture. This composition acts as complete “nutrition” for the skin microbiota: carbon, nitrogen and nutrients stimulate the growth of various “friendly” bacteria and restore the balance of the skin ecosystem. AQUAXYL – A complex consisting of two plant sugars that act synergistically. Aquaxyl restores the skin’s hydration level, acting on the principle of continuous hydration and restructuring. This is primarily due to the xylityl glycoside biostructure, which contains glucose obtained from wheat and xylitol extracted from wood. Xylityl glycoside enhances the action of two glycosaminoglycans, hyaluronic acid and chondroitin sulfate, stimulating structural renewal of connective tissue, helping to retain and bind more moisture.

The effect of the Aquaxyl complex on the skin is multifunctional. Firstly, the high xylitol content helps to increase the level of aquaporins in the skin, especially type 3 aquaporins. Activation of the synthesis of these transmembrane proteins leads to improved hydration of the epidermis, optimization of moisture distribution, restoration of skin elasticity and strengthening of its barrier functions. Secondly, due to the xylitol content, the Aquaxil complex activates the synthesis of the skin’s own ceramides, normalizes the desquamation of the horny envelopes, improves the skin’s surface, instantly eliminating signs of peeling. Increased ceramide production helps restore the skin’s lipid barrier, which significantly reduces the level of transepidermal moisture loss. Thirdly, glucose is highly hygroscopic and is able to perfectly bind and retain a large amount of free moisture in the skin. Due to its multifunctional effect, Aquaxil effectively regulates hydrodynamic processes in the skin, restores the harmony of water flow in the skin, and increases the level of hydration of the deep layers of the epidermis.

NIACINAMIDE (vitamin B3) – A multifunctional dermatological agent with anti-inflammatory, barrier-strengthening and sebum-regulating effects. Improves microcirculation, strengthens the lipid barrier and helps restore normal skin immunity. This is a particularly important component for the skin with damaged pigmentation, increased sensitivity or a tendency to inflammation.

Niacinamide is a precursor of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD⁺) and NADP⁺ — key coenzymes in cellular metabolism that participate in oxidation-reduction reactions, maintaining the energy balance of the cell (glycolysis, Krebs cycle, oxidative phosphorylation). By increasing the level of NADPH, niacinamide enhances the activity of antioxidant systems of the cell (glutathione, thioredoxin), protecting the skin from photodamage and premature aging. Niacinamide inhibits the activity of nuclear factor κB (NF-κB), which regulates the expression of proinflammatory cytokines (IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α), reducing inflammation and preventing tissue damage. Additionally, niacinamide reduces the activity of the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase, which converts testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a hormone that stimulates sebum production. This helps control skin oiliness and reduce breakouts.

Niacinamide inhibits the transport of melanosomes from melanocytes to keratinocytes, thereby reducing hyperpigmentation and brightening the skin. It also increases the expression of genes encoding procollagen-1 and enzymes involved in its maturation, which helps reduce wrinkles and improve skin elasticity.

SOLINE® – ceramide booster, a fraction of unsaponifiable sunflower lipids, especially rich in essential linoleic acid (ω-6 PUFA). Linoleic acid is metabolized into anti-inflammatory lipid mediators (PGE1, 15-HETrE), the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines in keratinocytes (IL-1α, IL-6) is reduced, irritation and erythema are reduced. Linoleic acid is an essential substrate for the enzyme ceramide synthase (CerS). Under the influence of Soline®, ceramide synthesis in keratinocytes is activated.

SHEA BUTTER – A complex of triglycerides formed by fatty acids – oleic, stearic, palmitic – and unsaponifiable fats represented by carotenoids, triterpene compounds, phytosterols, tocopherols. Due to this composition, shea butter has an intensive protective effect.

Fatty acids protect the skin from dehydration, softening it and restoring the lipid barrier. Carotenoids have excellent antioxidant properties, protect organic molecules from oxidative damage, and participate in the stabilization of cell membranes. Carotenoids have conjugated double bonds, due to which they block the formation of free radicals by binding singlet oxygen molecules. Carotenoids promote the synthesis of vitamin A (retinol), which, together with vitamins E and C, activates the inclusion of selenium in glutathione peroxidase to protect cells from oxidative damage. CENTELLA ASIATICA (CICA) – Centella asiatica extract, rich in active triterpene saponins (asiaticoside, madecassoside), as well as asiatic and madecassic acids. Provides a powerful multifunctional regenerating, anti-inflammatory and firming effect on the skin. Asiaticoside and madecassoside activate fibroblasts to synthesize collagen I and III. The dermal matrix is ​​strengthened, the elasticity and density of the skin increases, which helps smooth out fine wrinkles and maintain elasticity, especially in mature and damaged skin. Centella asiatica has a pronounced anti-inflammatory and soothing effect: it suppresses the activity of NF-κB and COX-2, reducing the production of pro-inflammatory mediators; reduces redness, irritation and sensitivity of the skin. By stimulating angiogenesis and microcirculation, the delivery of nutrients and oxygen is improved. Centella asiatica is an excellent antioxidant, gently neutralizes free radicals, protects collagen and elastin from oxidative stress, reduces the effects of photoaging and the effects of external aggressors.
